Book 1 of the DNA Trilogy

What have Yellowstone Park in Wyoming, an Englishman's cure for a pandemic, and a serial killer in Sydney Australia, got in common?

A convergence of events in the middle of The Twenty-First Century leads to violence and chaos across the planet.

Punctuated by sections of screenplay, this science fiction/murder mystery tale leads human civilisation to the brink of destruction.

Book 2 in the DNA Trilogy

R.E.M. – 2074

Fifteen years after the chaos, the nightmares continue. The nuclear bombs which fell between the world cities in 2059 have separated them all and left them without communication.

One man has gained control of Sydney, but the structure is fragile and based upon segregation. His second in command has mutinous plans and a battle for control of the city ensues.

A story of autocratic rule, population control and a highly regulated class system: a fragile structure held together in a bizarre manner.

Book 3 in The DNA Trilogy

2171 - One hundred years after the events of R.E.M. and a new society has emerged. The major cities of the world are still locked in isolation. In the bowels of a  library there resides a lost book, which contains a great secret. A love triangle is exploited by an unscrupulous man, who steals the secret for himself.

A beautiful and ruthless young woman, an evil recluse, and a powerful new mind weapon, will change the world.

The buzz reverberates beyond the 22nd Century into a time that will ultimately become - the I.Q. era .

The I.Q. Trilogy

Book 1 of The I.Q. Trilogy

2290- In a future world where people can buy and sell intelligence, citizens are each allocated 100 1.Q. points at birth. When they turn sixteen they can make a choice either to remain as 100s and be cared for by the state, or they can gamble with their intelligence. Those who succeed become high I.Q.s and enjoy all of the benefits this brings; those who fail lead squalid lives and some eventually become I.Q. 30 glidiots, battling in the Glidiot Games in a pop-up maze where they kill one another for I.Q. points and for public amusement.

100s are not taught to read or write and believe that Corporate City is the last city remaining on Earth after an earlier war.

The city is surrounded by The Great Wall - a ten storey construction that encircles the metropolis and separates it from the nuclear Wasteland beyond.

Joseph and his typical 100 family are attending the Glidiot Games, when he recognises the winner of the night. Having been haunted by nightmares involving this man, Joseph abandons his usual 100 caution to find out how their lives are connected.

Book 2 of the I.Q. Trilogy

Sydney, (formerly Corporate City), 2410– The tyrant is back and the I.Q. Era is too. Democracy, once again, gives way to dictatorship. With a new vicious sidekick beside him, the 1000 I.Q. megalomaniac tightens his grip upon the city and eliminates all opposition. His plans extend beyond the shores of the Great Southern Continent and do not include peaceful co-existence with other world cities. He drugs water supplies; invents a new interesting food source and along with a touch of Greek Tragedy, launches a rocket for world domination.

All the while a small group of people oppose him and though seemingly defeated, leave a letter for a lone survivor of the group, whose importance will ultimately determine the future of the world order.

Book 3 of The I.Q. Trilogy

2415 – In a city in the vice-like grip of its dictator, social division based on I.Q. is marked by coloured overalls. A new Great Wall is under construction to keep lower I.Qs isolated from the world. But a major problem arises for the tyrant who must seek an answer in London. Treachery abounds and plans for world domination are afoot and a nasty surprise is in store for delegates  of world cities invited to a meeting.

This final story tells of a battle for control of the city and for its place in the wider world. Good versus Evil comes to crescendo with satellites and mass destruction as a dictator seeks world domination, opposed only by a small group of scientists.
